Newquay and North Cornwall has something to offer everyone. You will be based in the Pentire area of Newquay overlooking the archetypal surfers paradise of Fistral beach.

Fistral caters for families and surfers alike and is fully life guarded throughout the season. Surfboard, wet suit hire and lessons for all the family can be arranged through the many local surf shops (nearest 100m from apartment). Further extreme sports
activities are available at Lusty Glaze
beach and Watergate Bay.

If you’d like a change of scene, Newquay has 6 other beaches to choose from. Crantock, a wide sand-duned beach, is an easy drive or accessible by foot/short river ferry a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

Newquay golf course is minutes away and horse riding is also available nearby. Other local attractions include its famous Zoo, two indoor swimming pools with water slides and the Sea Life Centre.

There are local pubs, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance and in town you will find many more as well as a number of nightclubs.

Newquay is ideally situated for taking days out to visit other Cornish attractions, the Eden Project, Gardens including Heligan, Truro’s Cathedral, St. Ives and the contrasting scenery of south Cornwall are all easily accessible by car. There are also many family/childrens attractions including Flambards and Crealy.
